A relationship is more than a single affection meter. Random Saga tracks trust, affection, respect, attraction, comfort, resentment, fear and attachment.

That evolving state is supplied to the storyteller, helping shape how characters respond, what they are willing to risk, and where a relationship might go. Character-to-character relationships add another layer to the group dynamic.

Add the provider in your settings. Set up text, images and voice separately, with custom connections for compatible services.

Select the models for your story and supporting features. Adjust advanced settings when you want more control.

Membership and AI usage are separate.Your $12 annual membership does not include an AI subscription, API key, tokens, credits or generation charges. You pay your chosen provider directly under its own pricing and terms. Memory work, Commander, images and voice can also use your provider’s API.

I use NanoGPT myself for roleplaying. Its optional Pro subscription is currently $12 USD per month, with a selection of modern text and image models available through its website and API. It’s a practical starting point for everyday roleplay; how far it goes depends on your models, story length and use of story helpers.

This is separate from Random Saga’s $12/year membership. Included models and limits can change; premium models and extras may cost more.

Is AI usage included in the $12 membership?

No. Random Saga uses BYOK: you bring a compatible provider’s API key and pay that provider for usage. Your membership supports Random Saga’s software and service.

Which AI provider should I use?

Do I need to create a scenario from scratch?

You can create your own scenarios or play community-published scenarios as the community grows. A persona lets you bring your own character into the story.

Who is Random Saga for?

Adults aged 18 or older who enjoy fictional AI roleplay, character stories and creative adventures. Community content must follow our Terms of Service, including NSFW labeling and the AI-generated-images-only policy.

Can I use it on the web and in official apps?

Random Saga is available on the web. An active membership also licenses supported official Windows, Android and iOS apps if and when they become available. App releases, device support and availability may vary.
